You can’t miss this famous bookshop in Venice, Libreria Acqua Alta 📚📖🛶 The name itself means “High Water Bookshop” and you can tell why… books are fitted into bathtubs, boats and waterproof bins to keep safe from the typical Venice flooding. It’s also self proclaimed as the most beautiful bookstore in the world… I’m not too sure about that but it’s certainly very interesting and a whimsical must-see when in Venice. I’d recommend visiting either early morning upon opening or perhaps right before closing - it’s a popular spot and you absolutely will need to queue up to walk up these stacked books outside.
