@jenniferdanella: Need a wild turkey recipe? I’ve got you! Give these Bang Bang Wild Turkey Skewers with a lightened up bang bang sauce a try. Full recipe is also posted to jenndanella.com 1 Wild Turkey Breast 1 tablespoon Olive Oil 1 teaspoon Paprika 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder 1 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Lightened up Bang Bang Sauce 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt (Use one with fat for this recipe for best results) 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce 2-3 teaspoons sriracha 2 teaspoons rice vinegar Recipe Directions Preheat your grill to 400 degrees F. Trim wild turkey of any fat/membranes then cut into 1 inch pieces. In a large bowl, add wild turkey pieces, olive oil, and seasonings. Toss to coat. Thread the wild turkey onto the skewers. In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the bang bang sauce. Spray the grill grate with cooking spray, and let that sit for about 30 seconds- one minute. Then add turkey skewers directly onto the grill grate and grill until the internal temperature reaches 165°F, about 14-19 minutes, rotating often. With my grill they took 17 minutes exactly but all grills circulate heat differently so just monitor the time and temperature closely. Use half of the sauce to brush over the wild turkey kabobs as they cook. Serve with remaining bang bang sauce on the side or brushed over top. Serve with rice or your other favorite side. #recipes #grilling #wildgame #wildturkey #hutning #wildgamecooking
Had this literally just now. It was AMAZING. I added red and green bell peppers to our kabobs. Definitely have to try this again with the rest of our wild turkey meat!!
