@missxade: The only thing I love more than a box of chocolates is... a box of sewing thread! That's why opening my Aurifil Artisan welcome box from @aurifilthread was like opening a long-awaited Christmas present. I kept stalking my box online all the way from Milan, Italy 🇮🇹 and when it arrived, it made my day! I'm so excited about all the goodies in my box. I got the full range of Aurifil thread weights to play with, from their newest addition - 8wt to 80wt, the finest thread I've ever worked with. I also received two beautiful collections: Sunny Skies by Jill Finley and the wonderful Calm set of 80wt threads. The colors are just 🥰 My go-to weight is 50wt, so I'm really looking forward to experimenting with the other weights. I'm especially excited about using the 80wt for my miniatures. I feel like this will test my skills and patience, but I will finally be using my 0.35mm hook. But can we talk about the swatch book for a second? As someone who has worked with color my entire life, to say I'm in love with it is an understatement. All the amazing colors are one of the reasons I'm so happy to be working with Aurifil threads. The swatch cards are so beautifully made, I might just frame them and hang them in my tiny studio. It's a shame to keep them hidden away in a box. Thank you @aurifilthread !!! P.S.
