northeast us: 50/50 mix. most homes are shoes off in winter (bc of salt) but its a pretty even split the rest of the year

Older white ppl in US wear shoes from what I noticed but their children (millennials and younger) generally shoes off. All my yt friends do shoes off in their own places

in my house, we usually take shoes off but i also have an issue where i need insoles all the time, so it's kinda acceptable if you need to keep it on 🤷🏼♀️

In the philippines, shoes OFF is the norm, and shoes on is considered dirty. In the philippines its either very rainy or very hot so there are chances of shoes being very muddy

I live in Canada and its always shoes off but I've seen people here who keeps their shoes on. Keeping your shoes on at home seems barbaric
