There’s also laws in place to stop data collection being abused. GDPR is one of the big ones. Companies are fined if they misuse your data, so it’s in their interest not to misuse.

They can use my data. It’s not tied to me, and it’s literally just what I buy, where, and when. Hardly anything that can harm me if another company buys it from Tesco.

The data they sell isn’t your name or phone number, your given an id like 652 and then they sell the shopping habits of shopper 652 it can’t be linked back to you 😂

All those going on about data. Pretty sure the likes of fb, TikTok etc are using your data for far worse. Tesco cannot pass your data on, they literally use it to track what you buy and send you offers. Not forgetting you get clubcard points which turn to free vouchers

Clubcard used to be a loyalty card giving points back. It wasn't compulsory to have one until recently. Scam
