I used to wonder why sometimes my dad wants to spend time alone. Mothers may make their husband look bad in front of the kids by saying “you’re not present, all you do is work, make time for us” And while a lot of those statements may have validity, there is no doubt something a lot of fathers have in common. And that’s the unspoken pain of being the strength of the family, being the provider, taking responsibility and getting up everyday to make sure that mouths are fed. We rarely speak about the strength and struggle of fathers. They don’t receive praise or appreciation in today’s world. I hope this small video can shed some light on their struggle. Because it’s a cruel world out there, and so many are going through this alone and don’t share their problems with anyone.
