I’d never felt so horrifically vulnerable as I was those first couple of weeks postpartum. That first car ride was awful. I’d never been as aware of the dangers of the road as I was with my new baby.

As a mom, i wish more moms could speak on how challenging raising kids is. Yes there are amazing things along the way, but we owe new moms-to-be the transparency of this huge step in life.

I'm waiting for my rainbow baby but I will always make time for my bf when she says "i always complain about the same things" cuz I know how much she loves her baby and she is allowed to vent❤️❤️

Anxiety before becoming a mother was nothing compared to after having a baby. My brain is always running and thinking about my child 98% of the time.

And then this happens again with every new baby so, not only are you trying to figure out your new self and care for your new baby while trying to figure out how to be the same mom to your older one..

I’m not a parent so I know it’s vastly different but I’m a trauma therapist and working with so many people it’s also made me see everyone as kids in adult bodies & it has changed my world view a LOT

After I had my daughter it instantly made me look at every mother I knew in a completely different light. Like whoa, you did this???
