@precisioncaremedical: A genicular nerve block is a minimally invasive procedure used to relieve knee pain, particularly from osteoarthritis or chronic knee conditions. It involves injecting a local anesthetic near the genicular nerves, which are responsible for transmitting pain signals from the knee to the brain. By blocking these nerves, the procedure aims to reduce pain and improve knee function. If the nerve block provides significant pain relief, it serves as a diagnostic tool indicating that the patient may benefit from radiofrequency ablation (RFA), a longer-lasting treatment #painmanagement #cortisol #kneepain #doctor

what about six months after the procedure? Will the pain come back? Will you need this procedure every six months for the rest of your life? is there no cure at all? my doctor said I might have CRPS. just trying to do some research...

My mom doesn't have pain. She just can't walk for more than 20 minutes. She has to drag her leg and pick her leg up to put pants on. She has no strength in her knee.
