Purse Dirt :
ECE has my heart forever and always but I could not continue my dream job once I became a mother. $1,111 after taxes…a spot in the center I worked in $650 a month. I could not afford my own center. 🤯

Newer employees would make more than me even though I was there for years and was told I wouldn't get a raise unless I quit and came back.

We take care of what is most valuable in other people + at an age where they are learning and developing, they do not value us$$$

ECE workers should be getting paid way more than what it is. I’m from N.C. I put my time and effort in the childcare center I work for. I hope we can get paid well enough and be appreciated more. ❤

I'm an asst with a bachelor's degree like my coworker but no teaching cert. I do the same as her. She makes more because of the cert. I don't think it's fair at all. Also have 27 years experience 😳
