We close on our first home on July 22nd we are having the buyers pay the closing cost and we just have our down payment… I sure hope no other fees pop up as we have paid for the inspection lol

As someone who works in mortgage, you do NOT have to put 20% down for conventional. Mortgage insurance isnt that expensive

The fact that the buyers have to pay mortgage insurance to protect the lender is BS. You want to protect your money you pay your own insurance like we do for homeowners insurance car insurance

Get a FHA loan it’s 0% down. When we got our house the seller even paid the closing cost we paid nothing to buy our house until our regular mortgage payment of $660
