being a cop in 2024 is so confusing. The general public wants you to act immediately to preserve lives and then after the fact people will have issue with the hasty response and deadly result.

hindsight is 20/20 they should have waited and called him out of the porch, since this was the callers house they should have been able to get the caller to secure the front door and then retreat
