I prefer the private pods as well. When booking, you need to look for more details and what aircraft it is as well view the seats to determine what the first class will be like

These are the Latam a350s, as others have said. These are my fav bc you get more room but I’m also traveling with my husband, so I don’t need the extra privacy.

I will book main and then watch the $$ for upgrade. I just booked from main and upgraded to D1 for $799 Atlanta to Amsterdam. My main ticket I used mostly points.

the A330-900neo offers Delta One Suites. Best experience ever.

You were on one of the nine A350s that Delta acquired from LATAM. Sadly they didn’t install the suites but kept the 2-2-2 seats and added the Delta logo. But all other fleets have the suites.

Yeah these are the A350s they bought from LATAM. I avoid them when I can. You call it’s one of those by the 2-2-2 layout on the seat map

You got an old plane. But still a lie flat seat. Helps to google images the aircraft type when booking so you know exactly what you are getting. or find a seat map etc. You want a 1 2 1 layout.
