Car ac recharge is the biggest automotive scam. Car Ac is an enclosed system, it compress and re expands in a loop. If you ever need a recharge it’s because you have a leak. Recharge is like filling a bucket with a hole in it.

You have a leak if you have to add refrigerant also any car past 2016 usually used the new refiregerant

If it’s missing refrigerant in the first place that means it’s leaking and recharging it will only work until it leaks back out again.

Be careful with this different cars take different kinds and sometimes more expensive and if you over do it you can cause your a/c to fail completely

make sure ur compressor kicks on when u turn the ac on too! freon won't help if the compressor is the issue. u can stand under the hood and have someone start the ac and you'll see/hear it kick on

bigger does not mean better!!! i overcharged my ac with freon and it wrecked my ac. use a small can and go from there

WRONG!!! The ac system in a car is a closed of system refrigerants does not leave the system without a leak so if the ac doesn’t work in your car the system has a leak

Better to take it to a shop and have it recharged the stop leak in all those cans will plug up everything in the ac system not just the hole, it will make the entire system plugged up and not work

A lot of different opinions in these comments and here is what I will say, follow whatever instructions are on the product you buy! Be safe, and if you aren’t comfortable, take it to a shop!

if your car is consuming freon there's a leak it does not run out without a leak fix it first
