Giving birth on your back puts your sacrum into counter nutation and closes the pelvis. Other positions are much better and promote nutation opening the pelvis. Medicalization of birth is the issue

this sounds very much like c-sec propaganda. women, our bodies are designed to do this. trust your bodies. if it was this bad, our species wouldn't have made it this far
