I do think they are slightly different, BUT one is not more valid than the other. I take in info better reading, my husband has to hear it.

I always do a mix of both. If I want to consume as many books as I want I have to! When I'm home with nothing to do I read but when I cook/do laundry/clean/go to work etc... I switch to audiobook.
