It’s common sense really. If you’re washing your hands and it’s very oily then less suds but if you’re washing hands that’s not very dirty then there’s a lot of suds

i always start with a clarifying shampoo, wash twice and then once with a moisturizing shampoo, then conditioner! takes a while but totally worth it!

Actually it has something to do with the surfactants (sulfates). The point of shampoo is to remove build up and other things that mix with sebum. Sebum diminishes the amount of suds you have. 1/2

Yes the more it suds up the cleaner it is…that’s why by the second or third shampoo it’s lots of suds verses the first time.
