I’m an active member and my parents are so opposite. I held my mom’s hand when I got my second piercing and I was allowed to dip dye my hair blu after a leader told me unnatural colors were immodest.

I've never been so thankful to be raised Catholic. The biggest thing with my mom was don't shave above the knee, and I didn't need a plunging neckline as a teen.
