I had a psychotic episode. It lasted 6 months. I never got therapy or prescribed meds. I always feel like it’s lurking behind me and will happen again. I don’t know where to get help for that.

Respectfully, are you saying that you do not take medication until you have a psychosis episode? My daughter stopped taking her medication, diagnosed with schizo, affective bipolar

Curious if it's still considered psychosis if you have Insight? I consider myself psychotic when I don't have insight bc I hallucinate and have negative symptoms even medicated but I'm aware of what's real

I feel like sleep deprivation needs to be discussed more often in regards to psychosis and other mental phenomena. I’ve noticed a pretty close relationship with my own mental health
