The tow hook on most cars (including the two bmws u showed) bolts into the crash bar (which also bolts on) and is the same part that crumples when u hit the bumper hard enough. You are overanalyzing.

The force applicable to the frame relative to the surface area that tow hook has is pretty much null in an accident. Its like the tiniest amount of extra force applied.

It’s common for people to just remove the front license plate for the track. It’s not that serious.

my state requires it for inspections but it's not enforced if you're just driving around so I might do this for an inspection and nothing else
