Today we are back and I am building a wildlofe pond in my urban garden, to help increase the biodiversity, and give wildlife a helping hand. The best part about adding in a wildlife area to any garden has to be building the wildlife pond. Its very easy, cost next to nothing, and brings in an areay of fun creatures. Today we are back and I have teamed up with Affinity water again to share with you our top 4 water saving tips to grow the best garden and houseplants possible. Water is arguably the most part of plant care, but there are a few steps we can take to ensure we are water wise with our plants and keep waste to a minimum. This time of the year many of us also have the issue of keeping our plants alive while going on holiday, so hopefully you can use a few of these tips to help. It is important where possible to capture and use rainwater on your plants. Not only is this type of water more beneficial for them, it also helps keep your water usage down too. Capturing rain water couldn’t be easier, simply connect guttering and a water butt to any outside buildings such as sheds, or if that isn’t an option you can leave thoughts and buckets out during any rainfall. You can even use old water from your home, just make sure it doesn’t contain any grease, salt or chemicals that could damage your plants. Today we are back and I am sharing my four quick grilling tips, to help you have the best cook outs this summer. For me nothing beats cooking out in the garden on a nice sunny evening, which we can only dream of this year so far where I live 🤣. However, when it comes to grilling, there are a few quick tips you can use to make your life easier. This might be controversial but I have a charcoal and gas bbq, and I choose my gas grill most times. For me the convenience of gas, really outweighs the benefits of charcoal. This is not a paid post, I just really like the product so thought I would share. The reason why I say bin your wire brushes is actually quite scary. Every year quite a few people end up in the ER with metal bristles in places they shouldn’t be. Sometimes your brush will shed, leaving the chance of it ending up in your food. All you need is a free pallet and some basic tools, and you can make these stunning yet practical vertical planers. I have been using protek wood stain for years, long before I started JoesGarden and I over those years I have been so impressed I just had to share it with you.
