Not having an AC shouldnt be a dealbreaker; its still reasonably cool in the summer here where you'd only need an AC for like a week of the year especially in a newer building :)

If you drive, we have a 2 bed place 10 mins from Beltline and it’s $1890, ac/water included. Bridgeland is also so cute.

I live downtown Calgary, in the West End. Both the East & West end have their benefits and draw backs. Obviously you will have homeless population no matter where you are.

Did you check out Blvd? We live there and love the location and amenities. It’s $2600 a month for a two bedroom, but they have a deal now for a month free, and there’s also referral discounts.

for a newer building no AC is very very off. West end of downtown is not the greatest.

$2500 would have been have been doable 2 years ago but record numbers of people moving here have jacked up rents by almost 40% in some areas. No rent control in AB.

I know which one! I toured it in the summer a year ago in the peak of heat and without the A/C i felt like I was suffocating😅i don’t live there tho so idk but I’d get an AC for sure 😅
