They’re compression socks. They’re supposed to be tight… It helps prevent cramp. Pointless cutting them 😭

Nightmare for kids footy, I’m a coach of an u10s team had a lad turn up to a game with cuts in his socks, had to charge the mother for a new pair most awkward thing ever 😂 especially when at that age there is absolutely no reason to destroy the socks
