Tennant, known for his iconic role as the Doctor , spoke at the British LGBT Awards about his appreciation for the community. These remarks drew a response from the cabinet minister, who is the current Equalities Minister. Kemi Badenoch took to X, to hit back at the Doctor Who actor. She wrote: ‘I will not shut up. I will not be silenced by men who prioritise applause from Stonewall over the safety of women and girls.
