I was on an historical asylum tour in Traverse City MI. one hour into the tour we entered a former resident cottage when my ear started ringing. We continued out of the building to two more locations.

tinnitus is the official medical condition but I do notice it happens at certain interesting times. I also have ear rumbling

OMG!!! I have never heard of this! I just thought I had weird hearing. I have 2 types of sounds though sometimes ringing and sometimes a low frequency sound. 🤨

I’ve had this my entire life. I do consider myself an empathetic and think that why I work well with non verbal, autistic children at work. I always thought the ringing was tinnitus.
