@countrysfamilyreunion: Though from Alabama, Hank Williams, Sr. had strong ties to Louisiana. He moved there and was part of the Louisiana Hayride in the late 40's. Williams had written and recorded many great hits, though he had a very short career. One such song was "Jambalaya" which he recorded in 1952. About 25 years later, the most famous cajun in Country music also recorded the song. Jimmy C. Newman was part of the Country's Family Reunion and we are so thankful that he was.
