As a former Flight Attendant I always tell people sacrifice wake up and take the first flight out always. Weather mechanical’s gets worst in the afternoon and flight delays cause a domino affect

Your theory is a little flawed, how can you fly the first flight of the day if the night flight doesn’t get there? The last flight of the night is good also as they need to get there for the morning

Ugh, that really sucks I’m sorry! I always book the first flight for this reason. It’s painful getting up at 2am but less painful than a delay. Hope you get out soon!

I live in the Denver metro and have experienced both delays and extremely turbulent flights by booking afternoon/evening flights. Now I only book mornings.
