@andbloom: I am truly a summer person. It’s definitely my favorite season, and I thrive in warm weather. My skin looks better, my body feels better, I’m happier, and I feel much lighter and more alive. That’s why I find it really difficult to endure the long winters in the Netherlands. In the past, I would pack my bags at the end of September and escape to a warm destination for work a few times each winter. Nowadays, it’s more challenging with Finn’s school vacations. But one day, I will spend my winters abroad again! I’ll probably head to Italy or Spain to occasionally thaw out my stiff joints. Honestly, it feels like each winter lasts a bit longer.
