On May 5th, we’re hosting a neutering aid campaign, a cause close to our hearts. Since 2020, Mariel and Giacamo, the owners of Baja Underwater Expeditions, have been leading this initiative with a team of vets in local communities where their expeditions take place. Join us at Baja Underwater Expeditions dive shop, located in front of Marlin Azul, in La Ventana on May 5th, starting at 8 am. We’ll be there, so come meet us! It’s crucial for dogs to fast for 12 hours prior to the procedure and be older than 3 months. Don’t forget to bring their leash and collar for safety. If you don’t have a dog or live too far away to participate, you can still contribute by donating to the cause. Reach out to us or @baja_underwater_expeditions if you would like to donate! We aim to provide free neutering procedures to 10 animals from families unable to afford them. All rabies vaccines will be free! With your generous donations, we can extend our reach and assist even more animals in need. Let’s discuss why we’re passionate about this cause and the importance of neutering your dog to ensure their health and well-being. 🐕 Population Control: Neutering prevents overpopulation and reduces euthanasia rates in shelters. 🐶 Health Benefits: Reduces risks of cancer and infections, improving overall health. 🐱 Behavioral Improvement: Curbs mating-related behaviors like roaming and aggression. 🐈 Community Safety: Decreases risks of accidents and conflicts with other animals. 🐩 Cost Savings: Saves money by avoiding costs associated with litters and health issues. Overall, neutering your dog not only benefits their individual health and behavior but also contributes to the well-being of the community and helps reduce the number of homeless animals.
