@hudsonandemily: This country is beautiful! One thing we hope to share through our trip to every country is the beauty of people and places all around the world. Venezuelans have suffered a lot over the years and what many of them have experienced is tragic. We have met a number of Venezuelans who have had to leave their country, which I can't even begin to imagine. And one of the most common things they have told us is how beautiful their country is. Since visiting Venezuela, we have been so amazed by both the beauty of the country and its people. From rainforests to beaches, the natural beauty of the country is diverse and incredible. This video is from @WakuLodge where we stayed at in a town called Canaima, just one of many beautiful areas of Venezuela. But what stood out to us the most was the resilience and friendliness of Venezuelans. Despite what they have been through, everyone we met was sooo kind. Unfortunately, what first comes to mind when some people think of Venezuela are negatives.
