@bratbustersparenting: How do we say no to a 2 year old without saying no? Why would you not say no? You want them to understand and hear the word no - I wouldn’t avoid the word no. They will hear the word no throughout life. As a parenting leader, it’s about teaching them accountability through watching you, you lead by example. Think about a mentor or someone you have looked up to that made you feel great about yourself, would you ever be rude to that person? That’s the goal of being a parenting leader. You deal with bad behaviour but you focus on the good kid. Looking for extra guidance on parenting toddlers? Check out the toddler courses I’ve created covering tantrums, potty training, bedtime battles, and toddlers who hit and bite, linked in my bio. Kids three and older? Check out my BratBusters Behaviour Board that I send to my parenting newsletter, linked in my bio. I say "no" to my 9 month old and he listens more often than not. People don't give babies and kids NEARLY enough credit

My almost 2 year old granddaughter definitely knows the word no. The minute she hears it she melts down 😂😂

My dad said "no" all the time. No questioning his decision, no meant no! All 6 of us grew up successful.

Yeah, I worked at a daycare where we couldn’t say no stop or don’t and I thought that was dumb because even though I’m all about gentle parenting, kids still need to hear those words

My 20-month old daughter knows the concept of NO better than her 25-yr old entitled cousin 😅

Can you please do a video on 12-18 month old parenting? They aren’t babies but still too young for discipline?

Andddd that’s why we have so many people in this world that don’t understand that NO means NO. Use the word NO. It’s a “boundary word”

The word "no" is no longer allowed to be used by staff in state funded childcare centers. Isn't this the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard??! 🤯

Please say NO to your kids. They’re a nightmare in school when they haven’t heard it before.

Others WILL say no to your child. They aren't obligated to treat your child your way.

Snowflakes? Weak? Lol….. so judgmental. No is an appropriate word and should be used however, I think you’re being too literal.
