@bratbustersparenting: How do we say no to a 2 year old without saying no? Why would you not say no? You want them to understand and hear the word no - I wouldn’t avoid the word no. They will hear the word no throughout life. As a parenting leader, it’s about teaching them accountability through watching you, you lead by example. Think about a mentor or someone you have looked up to that made you feel great about yourself, would you ever be rude to that person? That’s the goal of being a parenting leader.
