And as much as I dont want one of the only LGBTQ+ representations in the series to be the traitor… some of the theories are very convincing. One I read recently talks about how we all know her power is truth. We don’t know much on it besides that she may know when something is the truth and that she speaks the truth. But what if in reality, she can turn what she says and make it the truth. Or if she can make people believe that what she says is the truth. Then… she could easily get around doing whatever traitor plan she has and no one would know. EXCEPT maybe azriel does and thats why everyone thinks he’s in love with her. He’s always watching her and finds ways to be around her. What if he was only doing that because he has always had a suspicion or an off feeling about her. And it may be easier to make everyone think he’s in love with her and has been keeping an eye on her whereabouts. He’s just trying to keep everyone safe from her. I mean, he was the one who knew Elain was a seer before Mor did.
