@larrykhill: Today I wanted to share with you step one in my process… THE UNDERPAINTING! “What is an underpainting?” You ask? Well it’s simply the painting under everything else. A lot of us experience an art block when staring at a blank white canvas, wondering where to start. For me instead of sitting in indecision the best thing I can do it just freely slap some color on there and allow myself to play with the mixing of the colors and covering the white. This makes laying down those first brush strokes of my painting less intimidating and helps me get into a work flow much quicker and easier! I hope you enjoyed watching this process!
