@nxtlvlph: Now that the NBA Draft has concluded, we move on to equally exciting stuff: NBA Free Agency. The Knicks have acquired the services of a coveted 3 and D guy in Mikal Bridges. After landing in Brooklyn as part of the Kevin Durant trade, Mikal now finds himself reunited with his NOVA teammates. The deal has been agreed in principle and the Nets will receive Bojan Bogdanovic, four unprotected first-round pics, a protected first-round pick from the Bucks, an unprotected pick swap and a second-rounder. This is a solid addition for the Knicks as they added depth and another key piece. From a Fantasy Basketball standpoint, this kind of hurts the value of Mikal Bridges a bit since he will go from being the main guy in Brooklyn to finding himself settling to a role much similar to that when he was with the Suns during their championship run. There were initial speculations that OG Anunoby might be on the move but that immediately was replaced by reports that he is reported to re-sign a $212.5 million deal. For Brooklyn, this is the start of piling up for assets and draft capital as they go into another rebuilding phase. For fantasy, this means more opportunities for Cam Thomas and Cam Johnson. The Nets have also signed Nic Claxton to a 4-year, $100 million deal which signifies that he is part of their future. RATING THE TRADE Knicks: A Nets: A Safe to say, this is a win-win situation for both teams. @arenaplusphofficial #NBAFreeAgency #Nets #Knicks #MikalBridges
