As we commemorate the 126th Day of Philippine Independence, may we remember that the world once looked up to us being Asia's bastion of democracy. In our veins runs the blood of our forebears and heroes who fought for our freedom. Never again will our mouths be covered and our voices be silenced to speak the truth with the rights and freedom of the brave and the free. Never again will we go back to the dark times of dictatorship and slavery, for we have taken back our freedom from the hands of our oppressors. Tayo ay isang bayang malaya sa panunupil ng mga banyaga at kapwa Pilipinong may pang-aabuso sa pamamahala. Tayo ay tumindig nang may buong tapang at pagkakaisa dahil tayo ay tunay na malaya.
