@walking_with_wolfdog: A little update on Jet… Firstly, we want to thank everyone for your messages of love and support, they are so appreciated and mean so much. So as you all know, Jet had her surgery yesterday and we are really happy to say it was a success! Marco worked his magic and Jet is now on the mend! Jet had to stay in overnight at the amazing ChesterGates Veterinary Specialists and because of her cheeky nature we went to collect her at 6am this morning! Due to Jets size and enormous energy levels the sedation wore off a little early and she wasn’t too happy about staying at the vets without mum and dad. We were happy to get the call to collect Jet early, as being without her was so worrying. The Chestergates team have been amazing and have listened to us every step of the way when it comes to how to manage an animal like Jet. We think she has made quite a few friends 🥰 Jet is now home and after lots of cuddles, medication, a belly full of food, she is starting to settle down. The really hard work now begins…..keeping her as still as possible for at least 6 weeks! This will be a busy time trying to juggle everything and means dad will be taking 6 weeks off work to look after Jet to ensure she has no opportunity to remove her bandage or stitches. Oh and to keep the jack in the box still! Mum will be holding the fort at work, taking care of little Marnie and keeping the other 4 pooches entertained when she can. It will be a rough few weeks but we are feeling super positive about Jets recovery, especially with having such a great team around us. We will keep everyone updated where we can and we hope to share content of Jet back to her usual self before long. We will supporting Jets recovery using Nutraquin+ from the amazing Nutravet.
