It's cheaper to take your tank to like Tractor supply to refill then going to a gas station or dollar general to swap out. Just fyi

Listen don’t buy gas tanks from big box stores(Lowe’s, Home Depot). They only fill the 20 pound tanks with 15 pounds of gas. Find a local place that will fill it to 20.

Don’t waste your money on a gauge , that’s the best way to tell rather than carrying your bathroom scales out , full it should weigh 38 lbs.
