I’ve seen so many cute apple designs lately, @pixzel 🍎☀️🎹🐛 in particular, so I had to make an apple version :) 🍎 The bonnet instructions are included in my hooded scarf pattern (available on etsy) <3 I used brushed alpaca silk yarn and a 7mm hook, 6mm for the apples For the “pouches” I crocheted two apples and sewed them onto the bonnet, leaving the top open: row 1: ch2, hdc 8 in 2. ch from hook, sl st into first hdc (8) (I prefer doing ch2 at the start of a circle, but you can also start with a magic ring.) row 2: ch1, incr in each hdc, sl st into first hdc (16) row 3: ch1, incr in every second hdc, sl st into first hdc (24) row 4: ch1, incr in every third hdc, sl st into first hdc (32) row 5: ch1, sc, hdc, (dc increase) x2, hdc, sc x4, hdc, dc, (dc increase) x2, dc, hdc, sc x2, hdc, dc, (dc increase) x2, dc, hdc, sc x4, hdc, (dc increase) x2, hdc, sc, sl st into first stitch (40) row 6: change color to red, ch1, incr in every fifth hdc, sl st into first hdc (48) the leaf: chain 6, sc into second chain from hook, hdc, dc, hdc, (sc, sl st, sc) into same stitch, work into other side of chains: hdc, dc, hdc, sc the stem and seeds are made with chains and sewn on
