That repair doesnt make sense rebar isnt reinforced to hold that crack from splitting give it a few weeks to see

I am a woman and know that to fix that types of cracks, FIRST, need to open them up all the way, then cleaned….

should weld rebars to existing wall rebars. seems the wall dont have reinforcement.

I guess you should have bended those steel bars into the U shape and drill some holes after chasing the plaster.

I do this butmuch deeper into the brick works and at least 4 star pegs with min 4 extra concrete bags at the crack foundationto stop further sinking or moving
