It's great to think of the future. Just saying at 50 years old.It didn't work for me and my guy that had 2 children.It was always for the future, but in reality the memories are what counts. oh well -

I can’t do it, did 7 weeks in the middle of nowhere NWT, could only use sat phone and my daughter crying for me killed me went home and stayed.

as someone who grew up with a dad who did travel roofing, him not being there was normal. BUT he was always there when it counts. He gave up so much to provide for us, but still showed up.

My hubby works in Fort Mac (14/14 rotation ever since we moved after the 2016 fires). He hates missing out on things with our son especially, but makes up for it when home. You guys got this!

I hear that... I'm a long haul truck driver and I'm married and got 3 kids at home well not kids anymore and I've missed so much too and I totally agree it's hard ..
