@bakes_by_brea: lamingtons▫️▫️▫️ lamingtons are Australian cakes made from a vanilla sponge dipped in chocolate icing and covered in desiccated coconut. these were so good, they were gone in less than 24hrs🤤 made the classic flavour but will definitely try making other flavours! ~recipe from “CupcakeJemma” on Youtube✨ Notes: • refer to “Super Easy, Ridiculously Tasty Lamingtons Recipe!” by “CupcakeJemma” on YouTube for full recipe. (I just multiplied the cake batter ingredients by x1.5) • Bake at 170°C for 40mins. • my pan size was 9”x9”. and my lamington cubes were 4x5x5cm (after cutting sides and top to level cake out). • make sure to get rid of excess chocolate icing before covering with coconut.
