Real spiritual maturity is being able to trust God without having all the answers. Sometimes we struggle because we feel like being God's children should give us access to an explanation for everything He allows. But Jesus never promised us a life without difficulty. He actually said, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” There will be things we experience that we may never fully understand. And maturity is learning that I don't have to understand what God is doing to know who I am in Him. 👉🏾I am still His daughter/son. 👉🏾I am still loved. 👉🏾I am still chosen. 👉🏾He is still good. 👉🏾And my life still has purpose. We also have to resist creating explanations God never gave us just to make ourselves feel more comfortable or in control. Sometimes faith simply says, “I don't know why...but I still trust You.” We can refer to the book of Genesis and say that Joseph couldn't possibly understand every painful chapter while he was living through it, but God was still working through every chapter. So if life is hard right now, hang in there. Don't allow what you don't understand to make you question everything you already know about God. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 (NKJV) BTW...Volume 1 of my book Positioned to Prosper is being released this month! Stay tuned for more information.🙌🏾😊 #ApostleRee #PositionedToProsper #SpiritualFormation #MentalHealth
