good modeling technique but beware this method isn't the brightest when used for making assets for games due to it's massive face-count that burns performance. if u wanna make a performance-friendly gate like this, make a plane & only texture w/ alpha's & normal maps.

Actually you can make a fence even easier! By simply using BaseColor, Normal, Metallic, Roughness and Opacity Maps, you only need one quad to make an fence texture using Paint.NET or other Programs.👍
