It was unveiled in August 2018 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, United States. The Divo is named after Albert Divo, a French racing driver who won the famous Targa Florio race twice for Bugatti in the late 1920s. Design: The Divo is based on the Bugatti Chiron but features several design modifications to enhance its aerodynamics and handling. It has a more aggressive and sculpted body with a distinctive front grille, wider air intakes, and a prominent rear spoiler. Performance: The Divo is powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine, similar to the one found in the Chiron. It produces 1,500 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque, allowing for breathtaking acceleration and a top speed electronically limited to 236 mph (380 km/h). Handling and Aerodynamics: Bugatti focused on improving the Divo’s handling and agility compared to the Chiron. It features a stiffer suspension, increased camber, and revised steering for sharper cornering. The aerodynamics have been optimized with a new front splitter, larger air intakes, and an adjustable rear spoiler that generates more downforce. Limited Production: The Bugatti Divo is an extremely exclusive car, with only 40 units planned for production.
