@theyoungnonno: What seeds can you start now?👇🏼 Trying to regrow kitchen scraps might sound like fun, but it’s very impractical. The biggest reason is that every plant has a biological clock - and you’re not resetting it by placing the top or bottom in a cup of water. If you give that plant a second life, it’s most likely going to use it to reproduce, not fill your plate. But that’s one of those things flashy internet videos never seem to get around to telling you. Even as June turns to July and we get into mid-summer, there’s still plenty of time to start seeds in the garden now (and even later). Lettuce, squash, cucumber, zucchini, beans, beets, carrots, radish, kale, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, peas - and a lot more! Buon giardinaggio! #garden #gardening #tips #howto #plants #DIY #hacks

Okay, but where do I get the seeds from? If I need to invest extra then there's no point. How do I make it sustainable so that I can get seeds from the plants I grow and not pay?

It helped me start homesteading in a small space with no extra income years ago and now I am on property. I started seed saving scraps and propegating herbs. It's 100% helpful
