@humanebroward: I’ve never known love 💔 I was the victim of backyard breeding 🥺 If you don’t know what that is, let me explain. At my previous home I was kept outside 24 hours a day until I produced puppies. Then I would get to go inside the house, but only temporarily. I never received any care or medical attention 😔 My name is Scarlett and I’m a four-year-old gal who just wants to be loved 🙏 I’ve had 5 litters of puppies in just 4 years, and when I had my last litter, my owner decided to keep one of the puppies and get rid me 💔 I was nervous when I first arrived at the shelter, but now I am thankful to be here at the Humane Society of Broward County. I’m getting so much love and attention from everyone, something I’ve never known before, and being inside in the air-conditioning is so wonderful ❤️ I love to snuggle and get lots of pets and I’m good with kids.
