Concerta Extended Release didn’t work for me at all. It really depressed my mood and I was crying all the time over the littlest of things. I now take just old-fashioned Ritalin which works great!

Erm, slightly misleading to call it "the" brand name, given it is hardly the only brand of methylphenidate.

I got a permanent s/e from concerta: I cannot close my eyes when Im going to sleep. I always have to wear a mask or my eyes opens when aiming sleeping

Couldn't eat when taking it, crazy dry mouth and pressure over chest/difficult breathing lightly. Changed to Elvanse, it's so much better for me 💛

Ritalin and concerta (and all the methylphenidate like methylphenidate IR) gave me too much anxiety… only got improvement after being prescribed Vyvanse
