Not sure where in CT you are but Stylux Nails in Southington is incredible. I get dip and it lasts 3-4 weeks

Gel is sensitive to oil so if theres any oil/dead skin on your nail before u paint it, it will fall off. Regular polish doesnt do this but it does suck

Likely your nails are too flexible for a gel mani but a structured mani would be the way to go. You can have them do it in clear with a gel polish of your choice on top. Mine now last 4 weeks
