Enji Todoroki. Hero name Endeavor, Endeavor is to work hard, Something he has done his entire life. As a child around 13-15 maybe even younger his father died trying to save a young girl. Because of this. he most likely strove to become Number one so he could protect people. something which his father failed to do. and if your the best at something. number one. you can't fail right?? When he became number 2 hero at a early age around 20-22 his goal was to have children so they could cool down there own flames. a child possessing both quirks. his flames being hot enough to even burn him was a issue. a weakness even. he needed that weakness gone. to become number one you can't have any weaknesses as your perfect.? right?? Enji went to the Himura family and the Himura's picked Rei for a potential wife. she was of the main branch, the "perfect" age, and possessed a powerful ice quirk. He knew the Himura's was struggling with money, and they craved his status as "number 2" he gave Rei the option to refuse him, but she was to kind, and accepted for the sake of her families well being. when they was leaving Rei stopped for a moment to admire the flowers which was planted in her garden, the name. Autumn bell flower. remember the flower for later. She admired the flowers and Enji took notice stared at her briefly then to the flowers "do you like the flowers?" she then replies with a smile while staring at the flowers still "yes, there quite beautiful" they then stare at the flowers together. They then had Touya, and shortly after Fuyumi, Touya possessing a flame quirk, it wasn't the right quirk but he was happy nonetheless, Touyas flames was stronger then his own, he was progressing so beautifully for such a young boy. he trained Touya to be his better, to become number one. when Touyas quirk starting harming himself, He immediately stopped training all together and when the doctor said for Touya to not use his quirk, He never trained him again after that as it was said he could end up in the emergency room or worse. How he went about handling Touya was wrong. but to be honest Touya was four/five, he wouldn't understand either way. What Enji saw as protecting Touya was actually emotionally neglecting him. causing a lot of built up emotions no child should have to handle. Touya continued to train against Enjis wishes, when he found out Touya was still training he told him to go make friends at school or go play with fuyumi and natsuo. (remember Enji is number 2 hero so he literally has hero work to do and couldnt be home much so he left Rei and the care taker to watch over Touya) to which Touya had a breakdown his quirk going out of control. he didn't understand. he just wanted his father to "look at him" meaning to pay attention to him. neglect. pure neglect. even if he didn't know how to be a "father" and had hero work that is NO excuse to neglect your children because your own fears and self doubt. over the years he became Abusive towards Rei, hitting her. shouting at her. domestic violence. abuse. pure bullying. Why did he do this? because he couldn't surpass allmight and the anger inside his own weaknesses. NO ONE should be hit, NO ONE should be abused. I truly hate this version of Enji. he deserves no pitty what so ever as his past self. vile. Natsuo and Fuyumi, Shoto even. little shoto. a 12 year old. 8 year old. and a 4 year old. ALL had to endure watching / listening to there own father Shout and Berate there mother. Fuyumi and Natsuo literally sat down the hall. covering there ears sobbing there eyes out listening to there father yell and yell at there mother and brother. unable to do a single thing.. everyone forgets them. it wasn't just shoto and touya who was abused. it was fuyumi natsuo and rei aswell. if yall don't speak up about them.
