PSA if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding and want to wear sunscreen but don’t want the chemicals to affect your baby. Or maybe you’re allergic to sunscreens that contain oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate, and octinoxate. A bunch of big words, I know!!!🥴 Try a mineral sunscreen, they tend to be less irritating to sensitive skin, they rely on minerals like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. Rather than get absorbed into the skin and turn into heat like chemical sunscreens, they sit on top of the skin to block the sun. This is great news for your skin and your baby!! 🤰🏽 Now this is not always the case, I have clients who are actually allergic to mineral sunscreens so this is not a rule. As I always say, listen to your skin and do what makes it happy! ☺️ I must note that even though great advancements have been made, some mineral sunscreens tend to leave a white case because they don’t get absorbed so you might have to put your back into it to rub it in until it disappears.🧴 Here are some that I’ve personally used and loved: 🧴 La Roche-Posay Anthelios Body and Face Gentle Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 $30.00 @larocheposayusa 🧴 CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen $16.00 @cerave 🧴 Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 $11.00 @neutrogena 🧴 EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 $41.00 @eltamdskincare 🧴 La Roche-Posay Anthelios Light Fluid Face Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 60 $31.00 @larocheposayusa _____________ #skincaretips #beautytips #skincareroutine #skincareproducts #skincarehack #sunscreenhacks #easyskincaretips #simpleskincare #chemicalpeel estheticians #sunscreentips #pregnancytips #pregnancyskincare #breastfeedingskincare #breastfeedingtips
