I used to work 1st party collections. I had to get out bc I was collecting on mortgages and so many of these people had cancer and what not. I couldn’t stomach it.

You have to say “remove me from the call list” sometimes the call immediately drop after you say that but by law they HAVE to stop calling you.

All of this is very true, so many clients trying to buy a house we tell them just offer 10% or a flat amount with confirmation of agreement via email. Legit had a repo of a brand new car settled $1k
